This project involved the demolition of an existing dwelling and outbuilding, followed by site clearance and selective tree removal to create a new three-storey, five-bedroom detached home. The existing site entrance from Rectory Lane was regraded and enhanced with double gates, providing a refined approach to the property.
Designed in a timeless ‘classic country’ style, the completed home features a red brick façade complemented by timber weatherboarding on the garage. Traditional construction methods were employed, including strip foundations, a beam and block ground floor, and a blockwork frame. High-quality timber windows and a clay-tiled pitched roof complete the exterior, with architectural highlights such as a prominent chimney stack, brick detailing, stone cills, and a stone portico entrance.
The surrounding gardens have been carefully landscaped, with regraded lawns and patio areas to the rear, creating a seamless connection to the outdoor space. Internally, the home has been finished to a high specification, in keeping with the character of the local area and consistent with the Borrower’s previous high-quality developments.
